Biography
Lena Mayo is an active member of the Denville and Mountain Lakes communities where she also resides with her husband and two children. She was born and raised in Sweden and has lived in the U.S. since early 2001. She has over 10 years of sales and marketing experience as well as, holds a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from University of South Florida and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University.
Lena’s unwavering determination, focus, and “play to win” attitude stems from her days as a competitive sailor on the Swedish National Team. She traveled the world to participate in international regattas. These experiences shaped her into the results-driven agent she has become. Her commitment and competitive spirit inspired her to launch a career in sales and real estate and the qualities she has cultivated have paid off in spades for the clients she serves. To her, there is no second best when it comes to your needs.
When not working with clients; Lena can be found drinking a cup of coffee at the Hapgoods, sailing on the lake, running in Tourne Park, or watching the sunset with a cocktail in her hand at the Mountain Lakes Club.
She is active in the Scandinavian community in New Jersey and New York City, where she volunteers and supports the cultivation of the Nordic languages and cultures.
